Narre Warren Chinese Restaurant

The present Owner and leading Head Chef of Narre Warren Chinese Restaurant Mr Mickey Li took ownership of the restaurant back in 2004. Since then Mr Li has continuously shared his cooking passion. The year of 2013 will be his 30th grand years of culinary experience.

The first restaurant Mr Li and his younger brother, Mr Yui Li, established was in Cranbourne and in the early 1990's. The restaurant traded by the name of Lee Palace Chinese Restaurant. With firm dedication, they successfully built a restaurant that was deemed to be one of Cranbourne's leading Chinese restaurants for its time.

So it was with flying victorious colours, did Mr Li gradually become aware of his own potential. This led to the creation of his unique and self-inspired style of Chinese cuisine.

After 12 long years of service, Mr Li and his beloved wife, Mrs Kam Mei Li, decided to finally step out of the cooking world and take a well earned break. The restaurant was then sold to their brother-in-law, Mr Joey Le.

The original 'Lee Palace Chinese Restaurant' name was dropped and renamed to be the now popular 'Bonsai Bali'.

Sadly, this marked the end of the 'Lee Palace Chinese Restaurant' saga.

Although with his apron hung up, Mr Li's flare for cooking never subsided and fueled him to re-entered the wonderful world of cooking.

Mr Li is now continually working towards his goal... and that is... to create 'One Hundred Fresh Tastes'.... - the direct translation of Chinese name Mr Li has chosen for Narre Warren Chinese Restaurant.
